Wahiguru Akal Purukh, is well known to us by His "beant(unlimited) Daya Meher. As defined and made known to us by His beloved Gurmukhs.

Such a beloved one, was a Sufi Mystic named Sultan Bahu. In one of his writings left to us and addressed to Akal Purukh, he says the following beautiful lines:

TO ME THERE IS NO OTHER LIKE YOU,
TO YOU THERE ARE MILLIONS LIKE ME.

READ NOT MY SCROLL OF EVIL DEEDS,
SHUT NOT YOUR DOOR ON THIS WRETCHED SOUL.

HAD I NOT STEEPED IN SIN, says BAHU,
ON WHOM HAD YOU HAVE SHOWERED YOUR MERCY?

Wah Wah Sache Badshah.

SATGUR MILEH, TA, GURMAT(teachings, ruhanee khazana) PAEE ...

THE BANI CLEARLY POINTS OUT THE IMPORTANCE OF A GURMUKH...

THE PURE PAVITER BANI OF OUR GURU SAHIBANS SAYS THAT..... GURMAT, WAHIGURU, ARE ALREADY THERE ...

BUT CAN ONLY BE UNDERSTOOD IN THE CORRECT SENSE AND REALIZED, ONLY, IF ONE IS A WADBHAGEE ENOUGH TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE COMPANY OF A GURMUKH(Sadh kee sangat) OF ONE´S TIME ...

THAT IT IS WHY IT SAYS AT OTHER PLACE: JE SAU CHAND HONDIYA ... SURAJ HOVEH HAZAR ...GURMUKH BIN, GHOR ANDHER...

THIS MEANS, EVEN IF THERE WERE A HUNDRED MOONS AND A THOUSAND SUNS IN THE SKY ... BUT EVEN THEN , THERE IS A UTTER SPIRITUAL DARKNESS(ignorance), WITHOUT A BELOVED GURMUKH OF ONE´S TIME.

WAHIGURU´S WILL IS UTTER, NO MATTER IF ALL THE HUAMNKIND ALL TOGEHTER BECOMES MENTALLY DULL(insane) AND MANIPULATES THE BANI TO IT´S OWN LIMITS AND TASTE.... BUT EVEN THEN, THE LAW TO MEET OR REALIZE WAHIGURU AND MERGE IN HIM, LAID BY THE GURMUKHS UPON THE ORDERS OF AKAL PURUKH, CAN NOT BE CHANGED BY THE MAN´S WILL....

IK ONKAR, SATGUR PRASAD ..... this is the law of Wahiguru Akal Purukh.

As an ordinary tree
becomes fragarant in the company of a sandalwood tree.

So do people begin to love God,
when in the company of His devotee(a Gurmukh).

THE GAME OF LOVE

In the game of love,
between a soul and Wahiguru,
the secret lies in giving one´s best.

Wahiguru,
showers His infinite grace,
and the soul,
its obedience and faith,
in the form of devotion.

And the result in the end, is,
Wahiguru, or Shabad Guru
and the dhun chela,
become one,
without distinction .

Such is the love,
of and for Wahiguru Akal Purukh.

Chalay Naam visaar, taavan tati-aa
Those who depart from this world, forgetting the Naam, shall be roasted in the frying pan.

Ih parsaad, guroo tay jaanai.
This Parsad of Nam, is known or got from a Guru, a Gurmukh or call it may Satguru ... it is the same.

To all of us, who have changed Gurmat into a ritualistic and polluted transformation, with rules, regulations, do´s and dont´s, or even politics, the Bani of our Guru Sahibans clearly warns us against them, that, do all sort of rituals and other external practices, each day, with even 24 hours of full dedication, and because of that, call yourself a sikh, but if you do not do Nam Simran, got as Gurparsad from a Gurmukh, one is simply drowned and burnt in the hell of creation.

All these things are well understood, only when one enters and keeps the company of the Gurmukhs, in their sangat or Sadh kee sangat.

Bin sachay vaapaar janam birthi-aa.
Ant na paaraavaar na kin hee paa-i-aa.

Without dealing in Truth(Nam), life is worthless.
And no one has ever found the Lord`s end, or limitation.

Sabh jag garab gubaar tin sach na bhaa-i-aa.
All the world is enveloped by the darkness of egotistical pride. It does not like the Truth(Nam or Shabad).
Nobody is interested, in what our Gurus taught about Nam, but everybody is keen in trying to fullfill the rituals and ceremonies, which are related to the body and thus chain us more strongly with karmas in this creation, and then too, we proudly say we are sikhs.

Sorry to say, but we are sikhs(disciples and followers) of the fanatics and moorakhs manmukhs.

Because the Gurmukhs or Sant Janas, only come to remind us of the one supreme truth, which is Wahiguru Akal Purukh, and also bless us with the only way to return to Him, which is Nam Simran, as these words are reflected in the following line:

Pat saytee, ghar jaahu naam vakhaanee-ai
Chanting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, one returns to his true home with honor.

But because our mind and hearts have been locked, with misunderstandings, so we say Gurmukhs or Sant Janas do not exist, and shall never ever come on earth again, so we fail to understand the true value of Gurmat, though we have memorized the Bani like parrots.

The bani clearly says:
Satgur mileh, ta Gurmat paaee.

It is a pitiful scene, that while we have the best teachings, but still then, we do not benefit our souls from it, we are trapped by Kal, mind and maya, like the rest of the world, by getting entangled in external practices, and thus lost the reality of Shabad or Nam.

Prabh Ka Simran sabh te oochaa,
To meditate on the one Lord, is the highest form of religion.

Prabh ka Simran, man kee mael jae.
Only by meditating on the one Lord, the dirt of the mind, is washed away.

How simple, sweet and direct are the words of our Guru Sahibans!!!

When spirituality, that is devotion to Shabad, Nam or Word grows within us,
all other good qualities of a human being come in us like cream in milk.

We do not have to fight in order to learn or develop those qualities.
They automatically come within us.

When we have the devotion of the Lord within us, that love, that devotion,
brings all the qualities within us. It just transforms us, our whole outlook is changed.

The more we go near Him, the more we find ourselves close to each other,
and the more we love one another. The more we find peace outside.

It makes us more humans.

Almost all of us, think that in one way or the other, some more others less, we are devotees of Wahiguru Akal Purukh.

But Dhan Guru Amar Das Maharaj, chalks a border line for each one of us, to verify that our very belief.

As usual in the language of Gurmukhs, in a very simple manner with just few words, highest truth is contained.

So does Sachay Badshah Amar Das, tells us :

Naanak bhagathee rathiaa har har naam samaae
O Nanak, those devotees are imbued with the Lord; which are absorbed in the Name of the Lord.

What Sree Guru Amar Das, is saying that, you do not become a devotee of the Lord Wahiguru, by going to pilgrimages, or by wearing any particular clothing, neither by bathing in so called "pure waters", neither by fulfilling any particular rules or regulations established by any "comittee members", nor worshipping any lifeless, consciousless objects, like those made out of paper, stone, wood, cloth or metal ...etc

But, you can only call youself a devotee...if you meditate on the only one truth"Satnam", which is known also as Nam Simran or Nam abhyaas.

These Gurmukhs, Satgurus... do not come to create any new religion, but only to remind us "useless unreliable people", of the only one eternal Truth, which is:

Jin Har japiya, se Har Hoeeya.

The rest does not matter at all, what we wear or not wear...that is not important. Whom do we want to convince or impress?

It is all fashion, which has nothing to do with spirituality.

What matters is, purity in mind, what matters is, if we follow Gurmat , what matters is, if our "chit" is absorbed in Wahiguru through the Gurparsad.

Some may say, I am so dirty that I can not do Nam Simran at all.

That does not matter much, we must take the soap of Nam, then Wahiguru will shower the water of grace upon us, then purity will gradually take place in us, to the extent that a time will come, that by breaking all our mental and karmic bonds, we shall merge and become one with Akal Purukh.

This is the majesty, the mahanta of Nam or Shabad, upon which all true Gurmukhs, Sant Janas of all times, draw our attention ... this is also a sign of the genuine Gurmukhs.

Wah wah Sachay Badshah.

Our main duty of worrying about, should be, whether we are attached to Nam or not.

It is not important to which land, mazab, dharam or class we belong.

Why?

Because Sree Guru Amar Das says:
Naam lagae sae oobarae,
bin naavai jam pur jaa(n)hi

Those who are attached to the Naam, the Name of the Lord, are saved;
without Nam, they must go to the City of Death.

Dhan Guru Amar Das does not say, if you wear this or read this or go there, you shall be saved. The only essential requirement for us being safe, out of the reach of the messengers of death is, whether we are attached and devoted to Nam, by Nam Simran.

This is the essence of Gurmat. Gurmat is simple. We people have misinterpreted, misused and complicated the Bani, thus have lost the real meaning and values in it, out of our sight.

Because we have become so narrow minded, that we want to imprison their teachings between the walls created by us of duality, of manmukhta, so naturally we have become violent fanatics and fools, instead of being pure and paviter like them, our ahankar and krodh have not diminished at all. Rather we take pride in displaying and exercising them

How can it be possible?

If we do not drink the nectar of Nam ... because we are so engrossed in outer mayavee activites. Drinking Nam does not mean, drinking any outer amrits.... but the Amrit of Nam or Shabad, produced within us with Nam Simran. The more we do Nam Simran, the more that Amrit is showered upon us by Satpurukh. This is the key secret of Gurmat.

Bin Navai, nahee kou thao.
No place for rest, peace and joy, without our attachment and devotion to the Nam of Wahiguru.

Wah wah Sachay Badshah.

DIVINE LOVE AND BHAKTI

The soul can not help, but love its own origin. So we have to lift the weight of the senses, of the mind, of karmas or sins, before we experience that love.

And we feel real love when we go beyond the real of mind and maya, when there are no coverings on the soul, when the soul shines, when it knows itself.

Then it experiences the real love fot its own Father, for its own origin.

Love has the quality of merging into another being, becoming another being.

Ultimately, we loose our own identity and individuality, and become one with the Father.

And that is why it is said: love is God, and God is love.

The more love one gives, the more it grows...

And the only way to experience that love, is to withdraw it from the senses, by bhakti of Nam Simran and attach it with the Shabad within oneself.

Then the more the mind is attached to the Shabad within, the more the soul starts shining within.

Bhakti in the form Nam Simran creates love, it strengthens love, and by love it grows.

It grows to such an extent, that we become one with our Father Wahiguru Akal Purukh-

This is divine love....

WORDS DIVINE :Quotes of Saints

Postby carlos » Mon Jun 16, 2014 9:35 pm

In the endless adventure of existence, God and man are comrades.

God is our one unfailing companion. He will never leave us.

We may try to run away from him.

But He will continue to follow us as our own shadow.

In the words of Thompson, he is the “Heavenly Hound.” 2.

There is a meaning of mercy in everything that happens to us.

For God is All-love. He is All-wisdom.

He is too loving to punish, too wise to make a mistake.

Whatever happens in the Divine Providence happens for our own good.

Guru, is a word of two syllables : Gu and Ru.

Gu means darkness, and Ru means, the one who takes out from the darkness towards the Light.

Darkness here means, ignorance, agyanta, and Light means gyan, knowledge.

But what type of knowledge does Guru Sahiban refer to?

Well, academic or worldly sciences are also knowlege, but are limited, because that knowledge is the outcome of the limited, namely mind.

On the other side, Gurbani tells us: Sabh meh Jot, jot hae soee. Which means, the Light is present in all beings, and that Light is the True Supreme Being, which we commonly know as God, Wahiguru, Parmatma, Khuda, and so on in different languages and religions.

Now this Jot, is an supraconsciouss energy, an infinite Ocean of love, and mercy. It is not someone physicall, with beards, and a royal outfit, sitting on a throne and watching all beings to judge, by punishing or rewarding us.

This a very wrong idea, which most people have due to agyanta, and because of this ignorance, people of different faiths, fight and kill in name of their so called gods, committing atrocities, wanting to impose their god on others, as if, their god needed numbers...

Shame on all of them, who in name of religion commit crimes against others... It would be more accurate to say, they are not followers of god, but of the devil, because they are full of arrogance and hatred.

There is a saying, as you dwell, so you become. So, logically if the outcome is hatred and violence, our common sense tells us, they do not worship any real god, but their own mental wicked projections.

The Royal King, Sachay Patshah, does not ever judge anyone, as said before, that Highest level of Supraconsciousness, is all love and mercy; if HE wee ever to judge anyone, then, there would be no place for us to seek refuge, because we are all sinners.

Just as sunlight is the same, in intensity and refulgence for all places, all countries, all people, so is that Light or Jot, same for all souls, it does not distinguish between different people of different nationalities or religions, or genders, nor collective particular groups or individuals.

Anybody who opens the windows of his/her heart, gets the benefit of that Light with all its contained virtues, as gyan-knowledge, love, peace, bliss, and fearlessness.

It would be foolish, if some would say, the sunlight in my country or house is superior to yours...
It may sound ridiculous, but it is our reality, that is how we are.

Why can´t we all be superior?
Why have some to be inferior to others, religion wise? When all recieve the same measure of that Primal Light.

This means, either we are dumb, or we are blind.

So going back to the quote: sabh meh jot, Jot hae soee, as being a creative consciouss energy, this energy is called in the Granth Sahib also as Shabad or Nam, in the Bible as the Word or Logos, the chinese know it as Tao, the muslims know it as Kalam-Ilahi.

That reality is the same, but only that, those lovers of God, Bhagat Jan, Guru Sahiban, Gurmukhs, Sant Jan, mystics of different places, and times, have called it with different names, but it is the same reality, no more, no less.

It is we fools, who want to possess that reality, and think of having a monoploy over it, when the fact is, it is universal and belong eqaully to all, thus from there on, we want to impose our faulty perception of that Reality on others, when the fact is we have not any actual experience about that Energy, and because of that demencial attitude, we fight and kill others...

What god is that, who is so weak, who needs huge numbers of followers to inflate its ego ... If that god is so powerful, we should tell him, do not tell me to fight and kill others, better you go and kill the gods of othere religions, win them and come back to tell me about your victory over them.
Because if you win over other gods, then all others will have no options, but to worship you, because then you alone will exist...

Let us all see, how strong is that our god, for whom we commit horrible atrocities. It would be advisable, if those short minded could tell their respective gods, better you go and fight other gods as you are very powerful, for I can not kill or destroy, something which I have not created, thus have no rights on others.

Human fanatic foolishness has no limits....

So, as we have seen, that Reality of Light, is called Shabad or Nam also in Gurbani. That Light is Primal, permanent, unchangeable and eternal.

Guru Nanak Maharaj, tells us in the begining of the Granth Sahib: Ik Oankar, Sat-Nam
This means, there is only one Creator, which is Nam, and that Nam is Truth. Truth here is referred, as that reality, which is changeless and eternal, because all other things perish one day or the other, sooner or later.

Jesus Christ tells us something similar in the Bible : in the beginging was the Word, the Word was with God, and that Word was God.

Let us pay attention to their words, none of these 2 Gumukhs, refer to that Reality as something with a particular body, size, colour, shape, dress or nationality. But as an Infinte Consciousness, which is Omnipotent, Omnipresnce and all Bliss.

All other spiritual gods, angels, godesses, trinities along with their spouses, are not denied of their existence, but those are not the ultimate reality, known as Wahiguru, Nam, Shabad, Satnam, Word, Akahand Jot, Sachee Bani...some of the terms with which that Supreme Reality is known, but, is above all these limited exprsessions in any language or religion, actually that Power has no name, it is anamee, means nameless.

Mytics, Gurmukhs and Guru Sahiban have described that reality as :
Alakh = unseen, Agam = unfathomable, and Anamee = nameless.

And what a tragedy, that we foolish humans, fight among ourselves and kill others, by proudly saying, that my this or that god is superior to all others, utter blindness, thus ignorance ...

DHAN DHAN SATGURU RAM DAS MAHARAJ

Bihaagarhaa Mehlaa 4

Some Sat Bachans of Chauthvee Patshahee Dhan Dhan Satguru Ram Das Maharaj :

sabh jee-a tayray toon varatdaa mayray har parabh toon jaaneh jo jee-ay kamaa-ee-ai raam.
All beings are Yours - You permeate them all. O my Lord God, You know what they do in their hearts.
In this line above, Guru Jee is telling us, He the Supreme Lord, whom we call Wahiguru Akal Purukh, is the creator of absolutely all beings. Unlike us, who discriminate and segregate different people of different races, different dharams, due to our narrow mindedness and agyanta, we fail to see the Jyot of Wahiguru, not only in us, or the rest of humans, but as well as in the rest of beings or creatures.

har antar baahar naal hai mayree jindurhee-ay sabh vaykhai man mukraa-ee-ai raam.
The Lord is with them, inwardly and outwardly, O my soul; He sees everything, but the mortal denies the Lord in his mind.
Guru Jee clearly says, He, the Lord, is within and outward everyone and everywhere, there is no such place, where He is not. But due to the impurities on our minds, we fail to see Him as omnipresent. A child may not know, what is oxygene, but still he breathes that very oxygene. One day he grows, and comes to know about its name; but knowing or not knowing the name of that essential thing called oxygene to be alive, does not change the fact, that we may give different names to it in different langauges, but that thing oxygene exists by itself, and is the same for all.
We may see the stupidity, if some fools fight saying my oxygene is superior to yours. This is how moorakh humans behave, they give different names to that one universal existent Truth, then fight and kill each other. This shows their agyanta only. Had they known that, that one oxygene is the life giver to all, in spite of different words given to name it, they would never fight.
Thus there are some very stupids, who take each and every chance, to engage in disputes and see diversity. Not all are born for God realization, it is by His hukum, people are born in different dharmas, races, countries, etc... so we should respect His hukum, if by bad luck they know little or nothing of Gurmat.
What the hell can they do? No gyani, no scholar can ever convince anyone, if it is not written on their forhead. So instead to get angry, or condemm anyone, we should, as said before, respect His hukum, and feel sorry for them.
That primal Truth is universal, and is one, we call it and know it as Satnam, Satpurukh, Wahiguru Akal Purukh.
Others may deny this fact, and say there are multiple truths(that is their agyanta), but not because of that, we should behave as donkeys and start quarreling, because in them also, He is the reason of their existence, Without Him, that One, there is no other. If there are lesser levels of conciousness, even then, He is in them.

manmukhaa no har door hai mayree jindurhee-ay sabh birthee ghaal gavaa-ee-ai raam.
The Lord is far away from the self-willed manmukhs, O my soul; all their efforts are in vain.
The Lord is far away, in the sense, that due to the agyanta of the manmukhs, they have lost the jewel inside their home, and go out with a torchlight to find it in the streets, thus, all their efforts are useless(rituals, customs, ceremonies, etc, outer actions).

jan naanak gurmukh Dhi-aa-i-aa mayree jindurhee-ay har haajar nadree aa-ee-ai raam.
Servant Nanak, as Gurmukh, meditates on the Lord, O my soul; he beholds the Lord ever-present
Here Guru Jee tells us clearly, He is not found or met, by just belonging to any particular religion or dharam, but, by meditating on Him, through His simran, then we shall see Him in everyone and everywhere.

say har dargeh painaa-i-aa mayree jindurhee-ay ahinis saach samaanay raam.
They are robed in honor in the Court of the Lord, O my soul; night and day, they remain absorbed in the True Lord.
By meditating on Him, there comes a time, when the soul gets the "rus" of the Amritful Naam, and looks forward to sit at one place and do abhyaas as much as possible.

tin kai sang mal utrai mayree jindurhee-ay rang raatay nadar neesaanay raam.
In their company, the filth of one's sins is washed away, O my soul; imbued with the Lord's Love, one comes to bear the Mark of His Grace
naanak kee parabh bayntee mayree jindurhee-ay mil saaDhoo sang aghaanay raam.
Nanak offers his prayer to God, O my soul; joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, he is satisfied.
In these 2 lines above, Guru Jee tells us about how to know and love Him, through Sadh Sangat, the company of the Holy.

hay rasnaa jap gobindo mayree jindurhee-ay jap har har tarisnaa jaa-ay raam.
O tongue, chant the Name of God; O my soul, chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, your desires shall be extinguished.
By meditating on Him, by doing His Simran, we get rid of our desires, trishnas, not otherwise, which are a hindrance on our path towards Him

jis da-i-aa karay mayraa paarbarahm mayree jindurhee-ay tis man naam vasaa-ay raam.
He, unto whom my Supreme Lord God shows Mercy, O my soul, enshrines the Name in his mind.
Once again, doing this type of Bhakti of repeating His Naam, it is not in one´s hands, but by His apaar kirpa on them, whom He wants to get out of this mahabhavsagar of maya and kal.

jis bhaytay pooraa satguroo mayree jindurhee-ay so har Dhan niDh paa-ay raam.
One who meets the Perfect True Guru, O my soul, obtains the treasure of the Lord's wealth.
Sat Bachan.

vadbhaagee sangat milai mayree jindurhee-ay naanak har gun gaa-ay raam.
By great good fortune, one joins the Company of the Holy, O my soul. O Nanak, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord
It is not in one´s hands to join Sadh Kee Sangat, even that, is by His Kirpa

thaan thanantar rav rahi-aa mayree jindurhee-ay paarbarahm parabh daataa raam.
In the places and interspaces, O my soul, the Supreme Lord God, the Great Giver, is pervading.
There is no such realm, whether visible or invisible, where He is not present.

taa kaa ant na paa-ee-ai mayree jindurhee-ay pooran purakh biDhaataa raam.
His limits cannot be found, O my soul; He is the Perfect Architect of Destiny.
He is Ooch Apaar Beant Soami.

sarab jee-aa partipaaldaa mayree jindurhee-ay ji-o baalak pit maataa raam.
He cherishes all beings, O my soul, as the mother and father cherish their child.
He takes care even of those, whom we dislike or reject, due to our narrow mindedness, all beings belong to Him.

sahas si-aanap nah milai mayree jindurhee-ay jan naanak gurmukh jaataa raam.
By thousands of clever tricks, He cannot be obtained, O my soul; servant Nanak, as Gurmukh, has come to know the Lord
There is no way to get ever closer to Him, no matter how much chaturaee, akalmandee, we may use, unless we put into action the jugtee given to us by our Guru Sahiban for His realization.
